wouldn't recommend this hotel. unfriendly staff, no atmosphere, spacious room but basic and no character, small balconies with no view - despite being only a 100m from Lake Maggiore. more
Stayed one night in May 2007. We showed up without reservations. Staff was nice & friendly. They mostly spoke Italian and German. One fellow had enough confidence to speak English.
