The most positive thing about Besso is its location. Its very close to the Lugano railway station. But thats its most negative aspect too. Most of the rooms faces a very busy street and the sound of vehicles will haunt you throughout the night. So if you are someone who is sensitive to sound, this may not be a good... more

We stopped in Lugano for one night while driving from Strasbourg, France to Croatia. The owner was exceptionally friendly and spoke English very well. The hotel is very close to the train station and a short walk down to the city(big uphill climb on the way back!) Staff don't speak English or German, making it difficult to communicate anything.
