“Great views and lovely hosts”

We stayed in Hotel Magrappe for just one night but it was lovely. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with amazing views of the valley towards Sion. The management were very helpful and friendly and we ended up staying for dinner there as well. The restaurant had plenty to chose from, from traditional Swiss to wood fired pizzas.

“Sunny place to sit.”

We had lunch outside. Grumpy waitress but very charming young waiter cancelled her out. The raclette at 19CHF is a standard price. You get 6 pieces of chicken, chips and veg. To keep costs down we shared one between two. Great location as you get the sun and are entertained by the skiers coming down to the lift.

“Superb location, great value”

Great location, right on the slopes. Clean rooms, good service, excellent value. Take a room that's not on the slopes side though, because the rooms are so close to the slopes that the nightly snow plow machines might be heard in the room.

“BEST SKI HOTEL STAYED IN”

This hotel is the best hotel i have ever stayed in on the slopes. The location coudnt get any closer to the gondola or slopes. The rooms were large, clean and tastefully decorated and the bathroom was huge. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would recomend this hotel to anyone wanting to ski switzerland.
