We just returned from 8 nights at the Hotel Riffelberg in Zermatt and highly recommend it. The staff is warm and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, and food and wine are good. We have just come back from two wonderful days at the Riffelberg Hotel located 30 minutes (by Alpine train) above Zermatt. The hotel's setting is simply spectacular, with stunning views of the Matterhorn and other close-by Alpine peaks. The food was delicious and the service was great.
