I was there on a budget, staff was pleasant, invited me back,can't wait to be there during ski season, looks like a rustic place where hard core downhill people can share stories @ the end of the day. Great location in Zermatt! more

Well located and affordable, but rundown. Needs a paint job, a larger common room with sink please.....presently have to wash dishes in toilet room sink.....ew!! No staff on hand at night to deal with drunken, rowdy youth. more

I stayed at the Matterhorn Hostel when I skied Zermatt, it was not that bad. I had a good time and met some great people. It's not a palace, but was perfectly fine for the price. more
