Nice basic hotel. Although the rooms were very small they were bright, clean and warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar was a bit on the expensive side, but it is Switzerland. Be aware Winterthur is not the most exciting town in Switzerland .If there on a Sunday bring your walking shoes and a good book to fill the hours before the town wakes up for the evening! This Ibis hotel was very clean, very Swiss in a way. You get a very small room, as with all Ibis hotels, but everything is well organized and efficient. I guess it is European, small but efficient.
