“Excellent base to visit Zurich”

“A good mid city hotel”

We stayed at Hotel Opera for one night. The room was OK with nice big bathroom. The service was very friendly. Wifi works well and is free. The location is fine for visiting the old city and close to public transport. The buffet breakfast was just OK.

“Noise continues and starts at 7:am”

Arrived early and left my bags. the receptionist had good suggestions for using my Zurich day card (Chagall exhibit -- still needed pay 22Cf.) Room was fine, larger than expected with plenty of light and good internet connection, Bathroom spacious (shower only.) “Zurich business trip”

The Hotel is located in beautiful part of Zurich, near to lake, opposite to Opera. From airport just take S16 to STADELHOFEN ( about 20 mins ). Rooms were superb, size was great, absolute clean. Internet connection is through cable or wifi for free at good speed, there is nice big led smart TV.

“Nothing to complain”

Lovely hotel, close to city centre and old town. Spacious room with lovely view on the lake. Small but functional bathroom. Very clean and silent at night. Excellent mattresses and pillows. We had a nice dinner at the Opera restaurant, just in front of the hotel. We didn t have breakfast atthe hotel so i cannot rate it.

If the reader is American and you are travelling alone, I recommend you select a double room for single occupancy. These rooms are spacious and worth the slightly higher price. “Great Location, Great Hotel”

Helpful staff, very nice feel, pitcher of fresh juice in the lobby... Good restaurant and great location for exploring old town from, just outside of the busy tourist zone. I was there with my 17 year old son and we both enjoyed the visit
