We spent two nights at the Senator over a pre-Christmas holiday break, and found it to be adequate, but somewhat disappointing. The best 2 things I can mention about it are the easy tram access - just around the corner, and the friendly staff. The room we were shown to was small with both a double bed and a single bed and squeezed into the small hallway outside was a large cot, evidently recently vacated and not put away. This hotel is set in a “grayish” neighborhood and too far to walk into town. There is a tram connection around the corner. The rooms are very small and all the twins/doubles have the beds pushed together with little possibility of separation as the nightstand tables are nailed to the wall. Booked thru Expedia. The hotel has good location. Friendly Staff. Good Sized Rooms. Howerver, it does not say on the web site that Parking is extra, along with Internet & Breakfast. Hence, make sure that the rate will include everything you want. more

The rooms we had was facing some flats and the noise terrible People reffing there cars throwing stuff from balconies to trash bins.
