The "Hotel" is in a really good location and quiet cheap, but thats the only plus. The toilets and showers are communal and having 2 toilets and 1 shower for a floor and a half of room got to be a joke. The rooms are very basic. But at least mine had a "private" sink. more

I selected the hotel because it was extremely close to the Central Train Station of Zurich (8 to 10 minutes, walking distance), easy to find, located at the very beginnings of the Old City. Everything was clean, the building is old, but well taken care of, the service is good. more

I enjoyed the rock and roll themed rooms and such - it was fun yet not overdone. Rooms were small and sparse but clean. Staff was friendly. We were supposed to stay here for two nights at the end of August 08. The lobby seemed shabby and dated. You can also apparently smoke anywhere in this hotel, so it is quite smelly. Rooms are clean. Toilets and shower are shared. At night it can be noisy outside. But with closed widows its quite. I had a big Problem with the Staff. My booking agent booked me one day to short.
