First off it`s a apartment (studio kitchenette) not a hotel. Hotel Ascot (3 minute walk ) owns or lease this building and rent the studio apts cheaper price then their hotel rooms. The other review on this place said it was noisy. I thought it was quiet and I stayed there Dec 28 thru Jan 1 09/10. There is a tram stop right outside the door but there isnt any bell or horn anything and there electric. I think though that builiding is not very insulated against noise. The neighbourhood is very quiet mix of small business and older people. Very safe and clean area. The building has been re-done in the last year or so. I stayed in room number one, first floor, first room on the left. Parquet floor and Ikea style cabinets. Flat screen tv with cable, phone. Complete kitchen with plates, dishes, cutlery, refrigerator etc, *Note* to turn on the power at the kitchenette is to push the left cabinet door until it clicks.
