The hotel staff is very polite and the room is spacious but unfortunately there was loud music coming from the hotel nightclub all night. Unless you are okay with a high level of loud noise, don't stay here. And around four thirty hordes of drunk people trooping out also make a noise. more

This hotel was great. The hotel has a restaurant, that is kind of pricey, but the food is good. You have to pay for internet (wireless) in your room (the speed is quite fast good download/upload speeds); there is a computer in the lobby that has free internet. The X-Tra hotel is very nice hotel in a nightlife area of the city. It is just walking distance from the main railway station as well as from the old city. We booked it on-line for our weekend visit to Zurich. Rooms were very nice and breakfast was good. more

I booked this hotel for my colleagues, primarily for the proximity Zurich station. On checking in, they were offered ear plugs! There is a night club in the hotel which is very noisy (even on a Wednesday night!). Unless you plan to be in the night club all night, I'd avoid staying here. more

If you are wlling to put up with the noise at night and am not too fussed about cleanliness, then this budget priced hotel is okay for you. Personally I would prefer to pay a bit more. more
