This hotel is in the red light area, which in itself may have been ok - except for the drunks and idiots who roamed the streets below screaming yelling and fighting all night (both nights). Earplugs were suggested by staff when we asked for another room! Luckily we had some. more

The rooms were spotless and modern, and the breakfast more than adequate and presented well. The one and only down side was the noise as the area is situated between the red light district and the tram line- which starts very early in the morning!! more

We stayed at the Rothaus at short notice - our flight home was cancelled and we couldn't get another flight for two days. The Rothaus had a reasonable price, and had good reviews on Tripadvisor, so we took the plunge and booked.
