This hotel is in the red light district but was very surprised at how clean and safe it was. The room, although basic, had an ensuite with shower. The bed was comfortable and more importantly clean. There are some funny characters around but I did not feel threatened at all. The breakfast was average but substantial. The room itself was... more

Frist, may I say once we got IN the room it appeared clean. It is next door to a strip club, in a very seedy and unsafe area of town. We felt we needed to be back to the hotel before dark to be safe. I was VERY uncomfortable as a woman there even the next morning at the continental... more

In the Zurich red light district and surrounded by sex shops and clubs it would be a fun evening's adventure for a group of young guys on a bachelor party trip. My husband and I stayed there on New Year's eve and despite it surroundings, were not at all nervous about our safety. Zurich is a very safe town. Room... more

Certainly in the red light district but room surprisingly quiet. Hotel staff extremely pleasant and over accommodating. Close to bus stop and short distance to center of town. Breakfast was adequate. Had a slight room problem and was compensated above expectations. Highly recommend if your single male. more

As a summary, it's a hotel in the red light district of the safest and nicest city I've been in. The hotel isn't dirty and it isn't unsafe (relative to other truly scary places I've been to), but there's nothing positive to be said. It is *TRUELY* loud at night (until 5am on the Sunday that I was there). With... more

We had the unfortunate experience of booking at the Hotel Regina in Switerland. After all efforts to book a known brand were unsuccessful as all hotels in Zurich were extremely booked due to the Ironman competition on June 24 /07 , I resorted to using pricelines hotel descriptions as a guide and settled on theRegina, the description on priceline is totallty... more

I found the Regina to be a very pleasant and inexpensive stay. The staff are Swiss to the core: polite and friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and sufficient and the bar and wines available are perfectly fine. Prices for the rooms are very reasonable indeed. If you don't have a family with small kids ( you probably won't... more

This hotel is certainly overpriced. It is located in the red light district of Zurich, lot of "serivce-offering" ladies hanging around. Some ppl might like it, but to me it was unpleasant. The bed was too soft and uncomfortable. There was a lot of street noise do the location. The bathroom was quite ugly. although I reserved the hotel with... more

This hotel is nice and calm until 2 a.m., after that, you have a small price to pay related to the hot place where you stand. (Some kind of sound noise). But the room was clean, nice, and the water room was nice, one of the best I have seen. The price is ok for a Zürich hotel, I think.... more

We had only one day to experience Zurich. and we had a terrible experience because we stayed at this hotel.. First the taxi at the train station suggested we walk( according to him it was 100 meters) in stead of taking us there.. After a tiresome 10+ min walk, we found the hotel. After we checked in we found that... more
