Pretty low-rise hotel with large rooms and sprawling grounds, located in the middle of a field some 5 kms from the centre of Emmen. Other than the location, I've no hesitation recommending it. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices, the breakfast buffet (included in price) spread is large (by European standards), and the bar has outdoor seating which is perfect for a drink or two on a sunny afternoon.
Though I stayed in a 3rd floor room, the 2nd floor rooms have balconies which may be nice for the summer. more
