The location of this hotel is fabulous. It's in a quite neighborhood and well located for quick and easy access to the Paleis Het Loo and the Hoge Veluwe Park.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few downsides to the hotel which temper my review:
-- The breakfast area was not managed well enough, which meant that sometimes you had limited options choosing a clean table to sit at. They should have someone bussing tables regularly to improve their breakfast service.
-- The stairs are dramatically narrow, shallow, and steep, evocative of hotels in Amsterdam. Getting luggage up and down the stairs was a bit difficult.
-- Our first evening there, we wanted to make a quick trip to the Marktplein to go to the Post Office and find a restaurant to eat. At first, we didn't know where to find a restaurant, and the staff were unable to recommend any, saying there were "too many to choose from".
