This was the 2nd time in 3 years that we have stayed here. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and very spacious, with good facilities. Also very Biker friendly, cordoning off part of the car park for bikes only when Assen is holding events.

I was really impressed with the reception staff and their willingness to assist. The food quality was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. Stayed here for a couple of nights for business. When I entered the room I was surprised by the petite dimensions... Everything was just tiny; the room, the bathroom, the washbasin, the tv and even the toilet itself. I stayed at Mercure for about 2 days back in January. It was 100% money worthy:) Clean beds, friendly people and good prices. If I ever need to stay in a hotel in Groningen (although I don't know, as Groningen is my hometown), Mercure it will be for sure!

This is a fine hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable for its category. I would stay again. The only real downside is that it is a bit far from the city center (you would not walk them), so you need a taxi.
