Hotel de Prins is situated on the main road between the station and the town centre of Sittard, in easy walking distance of the market and station. The Hotel has restricted parking, although there is a public car park nearby. Access to the road from the parking can be difficult at peak times.

The 'Junior' rooms are mostly on the top floor of the hotel, reached via a narrow staircase and are unsuitable for physically handicapped people. These rooms are small and not air conditioned and are very hot in the summer, compounded by a very noisy main road which can make sleeping difficult.

The 'Senior' and Senior plus rooms are on the first floor and are reached via a wide, though winding staircase. The structure is quite old and most rooms have steps between the bedroom and bathroom, again, probably making the hotel unsuitable for the physically handicapped. Senior Plus rooms in particular are spacious.
