I was attending a conference in nearby Tilburg and this was the assigned hotel. Traveled with my wife and son who went to the Amusement park nearby (which they loved). The hotel is terrific. The rooms are spacious - two double beds per room with lots of space. The breakfast and meals in the hotel restaurants are very very good... more

An average hotel in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the fantastic Efteling theme park. We booked the cheapest double room we could find, which turned out to be on the top floor, with a view over the park. A standard hotel room with a few nice 'Efteling' touches, very clean and a good bathroom and bed. No coffee... more

Stayed on two seperate nights over half term October 2007. First night we stayed in a standard 4 person room, whilst the park was open. The restaurant was fully booked, so we had to eat in the park (which isn't a problem as it isn't all McD's or KFC unlike Alton Towers). My main gripe is I feel that the... more

We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights with our 5 year old Granddaughter as a special treat. The children staying at this hotel are treated as VIPs and every member of staff goes out of their way to make their holiday perfect. We arrived a little earlier than we expected because of the efficient Dutch trains and our... more

We stayed at the Efteling Hotel in mid-April, low season when most of the local kids were still in school. The hotel was not full, it was nicely themed, very clean, and check-in/check-out were easy and quick. We paid EUR 360 for 2 nights in a comfort room (5 people), breakfast and 1 day in the Efteling Park. The room... more

We stayed in this hotel in a room called "the under-waterroom". It was really nice, room was build like the inside of a sinking ship. There was music (underwatersounds) playing the minute you entered the room, a very big jacuzzy with a fishhead coming out of the wall, wich was the watersuply. The bed looked like a giant shell, mermaids... more

Enjoyed staying in this very comfortable hotel, the room was spacious enough for the five of us. Buffet style food was delicious, typical of continental cuisine. Staff were friendly, and kids entertained in games room - but might not appeal to older children. Theme park next door may not be quite on the same scale as Disneyland Paris, but there... more

Looks promising due to the fairy tale atmosphere, but actually more of a standard hotel with some extras. We stayed in one of the special fairy suites, but even that had too much plastic and fake extras to really amuse us. Other (normal) rooms looked a bit small. Restaurant has average quality, but don't expect a quiet meal - due... more
