Hotel De Kroon was a very nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and within a five minute walk to The Efteling! Breakfast was good and general service as well. The hotel is also situated in a calm street.

My new husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. I am a roller coaster enthusiast and really wanted to visit de Efteling, but the prices at the official Efteling hotel were a bit too steep for me. I decided to try this hotel as an alternative and I'm glad I did. It was extremely close to the park --... More

The hotel itself is not a cream of the crop, it is rather old and ordinary. But people who run it love what they do and that is why they did everything they can to make it cozy, stylish and convenient. Good job! The atmosphere here is extremely lovely and friendly. We loved the design of the hotel and we... More

Second 2 night stay in 2 years. Absolutely lovely hotel. A nice friendly warm and peaceful retreat after a day at the nearby Efteling. We look forward to returning again soon. The 2 ladies we always see there running it are superb hosts.

I spent two nights there during my brief stay in NL for a workshop. Nice rooms, very comfortable, very clean and with very friendly staff.

We arrived at the hotel 19:00 to discover that they didn't have a room for us because they had overbooked. The alternative hotel they gave us was a dreary business hotel 15 minutes away. T Altogether - can't say anything bad about the hotel, but I would never risk booking with them again.

This family run hotel is indeed needs to be updated and join the 21st century. What it lacks for its aesthetics compensates for its central location and walking distance to Efteling Park (about 10mins), Bakery (just across the street), Restaurants (5-10mins up and down the street), Shopping center (2mins, just at the back of the hotel), and some residential communities... The Hotel De Kroon is small and friendly. It's well signposted and easy to find. The ladies who run the hotel were very welcoming, the reception / bar area is pleasant, the bar has an extensive selection of drinks and the seating is comfortable. The decor is different but is gradually being updated. The rooms are all on the first... More

About 10 years overdue for a major revamp. We stayed in what was allegedly the 'best room in the hotel' which had stained, broken curtains, mouldy bathroom, wooden bed and arrestingly battered furniture. It had a balcony but you'd only use it if you wanted to do a traffic survey. What was described as a quiet town seemed be be... More
