Third time here, and still the best place in Alkmaar. Edwin the owner welcomed us at 22h in the evening without a problem. I the morning there is a nice breakfast in their Alkmaarse Eetkamer. We wll definatly ge here again.

We had a nice stay in the cosy B&B. Rooms are large and the B&B is located very close to the centre of Alkmaar (max. 5 minutes walk). Breakfast is variated and the hosts are very friendly and give advise to their guests regarding the city, the restaurants etc.

The good: The view out the common room is great. It's on a canal. Beautiful houses around it. The location is fine. If no one else is staying there, it's great. This bed and breakfast is located within walking distance to the Cheese Market, a must see if going to the Netherlands. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. The room was large and clean with a kitchenette (although who wants to cook!) It is in a central location and was very accessible.
