Myself and two friends stayed at the Tulip in December for Everton vAlkmaar match in December.As previously stated this hotel is about 2 miles from the town right next to the impressive AZ Alkmaar stadium. It is a 10 euro taxi ride to town or a regular bus with clear timetable runs from right outside the Hotel fo 1 euro.... more

This hotel is only just inside the ringroad, and not very useful for the town centre (which is lovely, by the way). Staff are helpful, and the rooms are large and clean, but the lack of anything round about (apart from a Chinese restaurant downstairs) means I wouldn't stay there again. more
