Upon a slightly early arrival Joost offered to hold onto our bags for a few hours while they cleaned the room (he would have let us in early at no charge had it been available). So we promptly went about gettnig our bearings in Amsterdam. A great location meant we didn't have to walk far to snap up a nice/reasonably priced breakfast and following a 1.5hour walk around we were happy we knew our surroundings. When ereturning to DeWallen we were allowed into our room (the smaller of the two rooms on offer). The room was large enough to have our bags open on the floor. The bathroom was clean and had all the usual stuff (only issue I can see is no exhaust fan so leave your other gear outside when showering! Unless you want it wet from the fog!). Breakfast is delivered in a basket every morning and is quite thorough in his presentation (fruit, bread, yoghurts, juice and coffee.)
Overall a good experience and stay with B&B DeWallen. Prices at the time were EUR90 for the smaller room... more
