The location is ok if you are prepared to do a bit of walking. Close to museums, de Pijp and Rembrandt Plein and there is a tram stop just outside the hotel. My room was nicely decorated but very small, no bathtub, a view of someone's filthy backyard. Tv was on a wall difficult to watch! Rather disappointing. Breakfast mediocre. Some staff nice, some had an attitude. Hotel wants to be something it isn't.

Got a room right by the tram lines; constant noise of tram bells, traffic etc rumbling past. Issues checking in, management were not very helpful in finding solutions although they were polite. Rooms are compact but decent modern style.
