The most over-priced hotel I've ever stayed in. For €170 per night, you get old, small cheap towels, rough toilet paper, non-dairy creamer as the best option for your tea, expensive (€12 per hour!) internet access in the rooms, an average restaurant at outrageous prices (€22 euros for a vege main course!), no toiletries, stciky, old carpet, and the bar... more

I was not fully convinced about what was written in the expedia reviews before i planned my trip but let me say it was more then what i expected. The location although slightly away from the... more

Big rooms, clean, nice decor...standard Holiday Inn. Not really anything within walking distance...but the bus/tram station to Central Amsterdam is just a few footsteps away. Paid parking lot. Great value. more

The hotel is what you expect, friendly staff. Compared to the other hotels of equivalent standing it is 20% cheaper, and Breakfast was included in the price. Nice not to have to pay €20-25. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, some of the fruit that is offered like the pineapple is tinned not fresh. Found the evening meal over priced... more

I stayed at Holiday Inn when I was returning from Austria after attending Summer Sales Meeting. I really enjoyed my stay stay in this hotel although it was a little bit away from the city centre. The environment around was great and we could relax a lot. The stay was made more comfortable by the extremely dedicated and helping staff... more

Stayed here for a long weekend to enjoy Amsterdam. The hotel is outside of the centre, Amsterdam Zuid. So, for sure not walking distance to Amsterdam city centre, but the hotel is about a 2 minute walk from a tram line, brining you straight to Amsterdam city centre. Furthermore, the hotel is also a 2 minute walk from the railway... more

I'm a traveling consultant and stayed in a variety of hotels. Was spending 3 nights in Amsterdam for vacation. Got hotel from priceline for $80 USD/night. Location 5 min walk from metro station / tram / train terminal, which took another 20 min to get into the center canal rings. Train from airport was only 10 min. Room was spacious... more

HOTEL IMPRESSION: Holiday Inn is an interesting brand, in Oklahoma City it's a 2* hotel, in San Francisco a 3* hotel, and here a 4*. The lobby looks nice, the staff is multi-langual and friendly, and there's concierge for your luggage. From the outside, the building just looks a big block, but it's confusing that the main entrance is from... more

Amsterdam is a fascinating city, but I always find it hard there to get hotels for a good value that are well suited for families. The Holyday Inn is such a hotel. It is not in the inner city but 5 minutes from the subway and train station RAI, which means you can get there by public transport easily if... more

I stayed at this hotel in August 2008 for a conference at the Rai convention centre. The hotel is not in the centre of Amsterdam but is in an excellent loctaion for the Rai centre. It was approximatley 5mins walk to the conference centre, and 5mins walk to the train and tram station which take you into the centre of... more
