Post-cruise stayed at the Marriott Amsterdam. Very comfortable. Walking distance to Van Gogh Museum and Riiksmuseum. Very professional staff. Gave us some great sightseeing tips. It was far superior to the Hotel Pulitzer where I stayed 2 weeks earlier. Restaurant was terrific, with very tasty entrees. Bus and trams very close to the hotel. more

I've stayed at this hotel several times and I've always liked it. The location is very good, right by Leidseplein and 1 minute walk from the beautiful Vondel Park, close to Museumplein, etc. The staff is nice and professional. It can be a bit pricey but if you find a good rate, go for it! more

The Marriott is a good hotel I have stayed in many Marriott Hotels and they mostly are good. The location in Amsterdam is good, you can walk to all the sights just bring good walking shoes. Great location, nice room, spotless bathroom, comfortable linen and an excellent breakfast. My wife and I have stayed in a variety of hotels with our two young children, some more comfortable than others; The Marriott was very good in all respects.
