I only spent one night at the Hotel Di-Ann. It's very close to the Red Light District and within walking distance of lots of attractions. The hotel is a decent place to stay if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep and not spend time in the room. Rooms are small but very clean. The staff is very courteous... more

This hotel is great value for the money. I had a single deluxe on the 2nd floor with a private balcony and a view of the canal / street leading to Dam Square. The room was small but it had everything including a bathroom. Things could have been a little cleaner but nothing was bad enough to complain about. Breakfast... more

Yes, the stairs are steep. But what do you expect in a traditional canal side Amsterdam house? We had a lovely room on the 2nd floor with a canal view. Small, but with all facilities, including tea and coffee in the room and a good sized fridge, with none of the expensive mini bar features! We stayed 4 nights, so... more

This hotel is fine for travellers who wish to explore the city, not hang out at the hotel. It is located a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and is a short walk to the Dam and Anne Frank's. The rooms are sufficient but small. They room was clean enough as was the washroom. They serve a basic... more

Hotel website was no good for booking the hotel, it does not take your payment, you have to pay in person at the hotel when you leave. But it is there to reserve a room. Remember that. The hotel had pubic hairs on the toilet seat and fridge door! Not pleasant. The stairs are very steep and illegal in size... more

We booked this hotel online through 'easytobook' as it is centrally located. We went for a deluxe double room at €150 a night initially and €110 thereafter; we only stayed one night of three booked and wouldn't have done that if we'd been able to find alternative accommodation sooner. A very steep flight of about 70 stairs leads to a... more

We did a long week-end in Amsterdam and thought this hotel was great. Yes the rooms are small but what do you expect in a typical Amsterdam building, which all tend to be tall and narrow? The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the rest of the room. We had a problem with the key card but the staff... more
