Stepping off the plane at Schipol and catching a bus to Museumplein within moments makes this a very easy hotel to reach. Local buses are way cheaper than the airport shuttle bus which collect passengers from various hotels in Amsterdam. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and since trip in 2008 it has been updated. The staff are marvellous especially Lizanne the receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and they were so helpful. Only gripe was breakfast could have been slightly better with more variety more
The hotel is modern, clean, good breakfast and well situated. The manager is more knowledgeable about attractions and train schedules and trip details than the Holland tourist desks or the train information people. The location is ok, we don't mind walking long distances and we also rented bikes for two days straight but it also rained heavily one day and one night so it made for an annoying walk/ride to/from the centre to the hotel.
