First i was sceptic from other reviews but the minute i walked in the reception me and my partner said that it looked quite posh. It was turned out to be true. The staff was very helpful and always smiling and greeting everyone. I requested a room with an Amstel view for my partners birthday but the receptionist kinldy explained... more

Had a wonderful experience. The Concierge was phenomenal and had great alternative suggestions when we found out the tulip tour had just ended. The bartender was very accomodating and fun. The location was outstanding and close to lots of restaurants, Rembrandt Square, the canal, etc. The room was pretty small, but charming and clean. Love how energy efficient this hotel... more

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights several days ago. This is far not my first stay in Amsterdam and in EU (I’m from Norway myself). But this is the first time when I would like to express my negative thinking about exactly that hotel. I selected it because of the rate- around 80 Euro per night and 7 Euro... more

We had a 5 night stay during the half-term holidays and loved just about everything during our time there. Even the thunder & lightning during Monday night was amazing to watch. We booked an executive room over the internet, but were told on arrival that the room we had booked wasn't available but we could have an executive room for... more

We had a 3 night stay booked on a special offer and first impresions where good with a good reception area and aproached via a great canal scene with houseboats. We had a good size room (No 502) witha great bathroom flat screen tv. Then we opened the curtains and all we had to view was a wall of windows... more

The hotel has a great location, the front overlooking the river and city hall, the rear backing on to Rembrandt Square with it's lovely square restaurant and bars. We upgraded from a standard room to an executive room when we checked in. It was well worth the 20 euros per night extra, as we had a larger room (although it... more

Woman says: "We stayed at the Eden hotel for 4 nights and we thought it was great. As we booked on a special offer, we thought we might get stuck with the worst of everything, however, besides the room being slightly small, it was still liveable, and what you need for a holiday in Amsterdam. The hotel was in a... more

Our rooms overlooked an alleyway with the nightclub, House, below. Music, yelling, drunken shouting matches all set to a booming bass beat from 12 midnight until 6 a.m. !!!!!! Directly across the alley from our rooms (#345 and #346) is an apartment that is literally 10 feet from your window. The 6 or 7 young people staying there partied until... more

Stayed here in 2007 for a few days. I've always had some pretty decent experiences with Best Western abroad so I booked this hotel. It was fairly inexpensive and in a great location. My room was absolutely horrible though. It smelled of cigarette smoke. On top of the smell, the room was teeny tiny and very gloomy. My bed sheets... more
