Good location and good service, staff are helpfull, room clean and tidy. Single room to provide with small kattle. TV channel was not clear. Breakfast was good but to have bread toaster and extra plain water.

Maybe Amsterdam is getting (or has always been, I do not know) an expensive city when it comes to accommodation. The fact is, the hotel is simple but honest, breakfast is ok, but I think the price is expensive considering what you get. Wifi in bedroom is "randomic".

I went with a group of friends for my 30th birthday and had such a laugh. the hotel was a short walk away from the red light district...2 or 3 canals away..short walk from central station. staff were very helpful and there was always a member of staff to help with information about their 'culture'! would deffo stay again!

Grand hotel to stay in, all you would want for a short stay, rooms are basic clean and great shower in the room we stayed in. Located at the edge of the red light district right in the centre of amsterdam,staff are nice and the best cup of coffee in town. Would stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Vijaya as a family of 5 for 7 nights. Yes the room was basic, but it is all we needed. The reception staff were fantastic and spoiled our two little girls (3 &5). The breakfast was great and plentiful. We would stay here again for our next visit.
