I spent 5 nights at the Borgmann Villa. The room had a wonderful view of the park. The area around the hotel was residential and 10-15 minutes by bike to the center of Amsterdam. The worst possible advert for accommodation for singles, I was put in a third floor room smaller than a prison cell and made to feel most unwelcome by the reception staff.
