Frankly I am stunned that this place has received any positive reviews. If this is a three star hotel McDonalds is fine dining. Dirty run down undersized lobby is your introduction. I've now stayed at this hotel twice so I thought I should write a review. The first time I stayed with a group of friends, we had a quad room. The rooms are a little old fashioned, but so is the building, personally I think that adds to the charm of the place. There was a TV but no tea/coffee... more

pros: Comparatively inexpensive and extremely convenient for a short stay in Amsterdam coming in and out of Central Station. Comfortable enough for the price. Great location if you want to be near the action. cons: Room rather smelled (and not of weed, just general musty old smell). Just got back from 3 days staying at Hotel Prins Henrik with freinds. Got a quad room and it was clean, comfy and not nearly as noisy as reveiws lead you to beleive. 5 min walk from station so very convenient. The brekkie was okay and in line with a 3star but the staff were best thing about the place.... more

The location was unbeatable. 4-minute walk to teh red light district and 2 minutes away from teh Central station. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious and generous! It was self-served, buffet style. My friends and I stayed in a 5-bed room on the 4th floor. It was spacious, in good condition (although some holes in the covers), and the bathroom was clean.... more
