Really good location for the bars but also a safe environment and very pretty spot right next to the canal. Don't let the name deceive you. It's located near Leidesplein and right off of Prisengracht and Leidestratte; beautiful neighborhood; very safe; affordable as well. This is s reasonable, cheap option. We booked a room at the last minute as could not find anywhere else to stay. We slept in the attic room which was smallish, basic but relatively clean.
