I thought this was a great campsite, and a great budget way to visit Amsterdam. The site itself is really nice, right next to the river. There's a really chilled out atmosphere, and the staff were all very friendly. There's a handy little shop, and a restaurant/bar too. The camping site was a 15-Minute walk from the tram station (which is about 10 minutes from central station). The site was clean, a bit noisy, but for that price it was more than ok. more

this campsite was great. me and my boyfriend stayed there for a week the staff were lovely very helpful, they bake bread all day long! i don't quite understand the bad review because my stay was perfect. we were there for queens day festival which made the campsite a lot busier and lively. was great! oh and the ducks are... more

At 8Euro a night for a tent (which I shared with a friend), Zeeburg was by far the cheapest option to stay in Amsterdam. Campsite is well equipped with toilets, water, showers, helpful reception, internet (2euro for 15 minutes) a restaurant. Just returned from a week's holiday in Amsterdam. Stayed at Zeeburg....What a nightmare! I don't understand all these positive reviews. Zeeburg must be one of the most dirty campsites in Europe. I stay in the camping huts here VERY cheaply, cheapest room in Amsterdam in fact. Don't let the fact its a little out of the centre put you off its a super little place that is only 10 mins on the tram or 15 mins to central station on a bike. Camping Zeeburg was an excellent choice, it had everything we needed!! showers and toilets were clean and tidy, bar area, shop and reception were well presented. The trams are about a 5 min walk away and an open air swimming pool also about 5 min away. I loved this place so much I'm going again next week!!! more
