I had booked two single rooms for a one night stay. On arrival I was happily told that all single rooms had gone and we would get a really big room each. This sounded great until I opened my door to a dirty dormitory with bunk beds. I found it difficult to sleep due to the endless comings and goings... more

poor maintinance, bad smell all over the hotel, breakfast is basic of poor quality, some of the stuff are so agressive and are in the wrong position. The website does not match with the reality. some authority has to stop the sheeting. The only good thing is the place where it is located. it is close to central station. if you... more

Don't stay there. They tried to charge us double from what they quoted on the internet. The first room they put us in was sub standard, lights hanging of the wall or not working, tiny room. The second room was not much better. I would look for another hotel don't stay there. Just down the street there is a hotel... more

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. It was dirty nothing worked i.e. WC's shower the staff weren't overly helpful although one or two tried their best. We had a quad room with only one door key which made coming and going difficult, one lad had to climb in through the window!... more

Good points: Location good, near centre and train station. Breakfast reasonable. Bad points: Our room had a dirty dusty carpet, smelt strongly of stale cigarettes, curtain only covered 60% of window, mirror was on floor, toilet did not work, toilet door handle broken, only one light bulb out of three worked. No ladder for bunk bed. Fire doors did not... more

Having booked the hotel prior to reading these reviews we were a little concerned. Upon arrival the manager (apparently) apologised for our room as it was the worst in the hotel, and promised to move us the following day if we asked. This further scared us! However the room was fine, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean and worked... more

After reading the other comments I was really thinking if I should stay in this hotel, but Amsterdam was full most places have been fully booked. This is a very simple hotel my room was small but clean. The restaurant looked new and nice. This hotel does need more care, but what do you expect from a simple hotel? The... more

This has to be the absolute worst hotel I have stayed in (and I have travelled extensively). It was filthy dirty, the staff were unorganised, the room was horrible, the carpets were filthy and damp, the room very very small, and faced onto a very busy street. The windows didnt open more than 6 inches, the room was very stuffy... more
