The Hotel can Onna is a very basic hotel. I went with my wife recently and got given a twin bed, in a small room with a bathroom. This seems to be a family-run operation and they're pretty friendly, but the rooms are really only a scant step up from a hostel. We stayed at Onna two nights in March and really appreciated having a clean and professionally run place as our first destination in Holland. The location is excellent. I've spent time in a number of other Amsterdam hotels in a similar price bracket and none match up to Van Onna. Experiences with vermin and dirty sheets and towels were the norm elsewhere!
