I spent four days at the Luxer last week and while it wasn't a bad hotel, I don't think I would stay there again. This isn't really the fault of the hotel or it's staff but mainly due to it's location. Frankly I am surprised to read so many positive reviews. I booked a room at the Luxer for one night before my flight back to the States after two weeks of train travel through Germany and Benelux. The taxi really couldn`t have dropped us off much nearer. The RLD is mostly pedestrianised apart from bikes and service vehicles. After reading many many many reviews I was not sure what to expect from this hotel. I went in open minded and was pleasently suprised when we got there. It was not bad at all. The hotel was average . The walls are not very sound proof , some staff were lovely . The rooms were small & cleaned daily .
