My partner and I went to Amsterdam last year. We were recommended this hotel from Airmiles. The hotel was ok, an average 3/4 star. However, the hotel was around 1.5 miles to the closest bus/tram stop and then a 45 minute tram ride. We walked around Amsterdam during the day and by the afternoon when you want to go back... More

Far, really far from the center of the hotel, although transport 15 minutes, the best of this hotel chain to choose the one that is in the center for the same money, because after 8 pm for a long time to wait for transportation that will take you back to the hotel on the outskirts of Artemis . The rooms... More

This hotel offers a very fresh look at the "design " aspect of things. It is situated in what appears to be a business district near PWC and IBM. It was about 30 euro from the airport. From chairs made of nails and tennis balls, the reception has it all. The staff were very friendly at check in and offered... More

The Artemis is not expensive but is in the middle of nowhere and the restaurant is so understaffed that eating a simple meal can take literally hours: the option is to eat elswhere but there is nothing nearby. The rooms are OK but the beds are uncomfortable: thin mattresses with small sheets that don't stay tucked in. Checking out at... More

I stayed at this hotel the first time I ever went to Amsterdam. It was very very cheap and when arriving in the hotel we could not believe what we got for our money! The lobby was beautiful & very modern, the actual building is also very modern looking too. The lady on reception was lovely and really helpfull she... More

The first time I stayed here the hotel was just open a few months or so. Back then (early 2006) hotel rooms with multimedia LCD TV's were still quite rare, so that impressed. Also, the decoration of the rooms was very nice, especially the wooden floors. Another big plus was plain free wireless...all very unusual. After that first time I... More

I've been at the Artemis a few times now and it's a solid, good choice. My only disappointment was getting a smoking room one time due to low vacancy. That would have been ok had there not been cigarette ash on the floor! But check in at midnight and leave at 8 next morning makes it no big deal..... More

Hotel ARTemis (hence the name) has a really impressive hall full of modern art pieces. Have a nice strolling around. Looking at the choices on a price around 70 EUR/ night in Amsterdam, this hotel was really worth it. The building and the rooms are brand new and clean. The bathroom has no hair dryer which was quite unusual but... More

The rooms and the internet facility is good but the food quality and service levels are not up to the mark. The gym facility is not that of high standard. Checking out proccess sometimes is very time consuming as they have too many tourists. A very good location for art lovers. More

I was together with my friend in Amsterdam for two days in November. We stayed two nights at Artemis Hotel. It's 20-25 minutes away from the city centre. The lobby area is wide and decorated at artdeco style. The rooms are comfortable and has nice details, like ironing, cofee machine etc. The breakfast is open buffet and the food is... More
