I only stayed for one night. Check in was easy. Breakfast was lovely. The room was gorgeous with a window (4th floor). Warning: the lift is teeny tiny, but the stairs are spacious if you have big luggage. I will definitely go back when I have more time. I fully recommend renting one of their bikes and cruising the city.... more

We just came home from a 3 nights stay at Hotel V in Amsterdam. We picked this hotel because of the great reviews and because of the location. Right next to the tram line and in walking distance (15 min) from Rembrandtplein. We booked a large room, but it was still very small. However we only slept in the room... more

Its a great trendy hotel, in a great location. However under NO circumstances do you want to stay in the rooms in the basement (rooms 6 through 9). They are underneath the restaurant and so you hear people walking above you all morning starting at 6:30am. And they are below the bar and across from the public restrooms so you... more

I spent 3 nights in hotel V Frederiksplein and it made a good impression on me. It is located almost in the city center close to some of the major Amsterdam atractions (in the walking distance + tram stop just in front of the hotel). Hotel V itself is very clean, friendly and trendy place for people who do not... more

My favorite stay after a 6 country tour in Europe. Location is very close to the city center but far enough away from the madness of the tourists. Very clean and modern. Extremely helpful staff. Huge bed. Free breakfast. Free coffee 24/7. Two free cocktails. What more can be said? more

The hotel is reasonably trendy, clean rooms, a friendly staff and well positioned for travel in the city (tram and subway nearby). But unfortunately it is located opposite a very noisy tram stop. Because the windows are poorly insulated, one even hears the trams use their horns until around 1 AM even on the backside of the hotel. Trams start... more

Great hotel in a good location, within a short walking distance (or a hop on the metro) of all the action but quiet enough to get a decent night's sleep! Really friendly and helpful staff, together with some good background tunes, made for a relaxed atmosphere in the reception area. The rooms aren't huge - but big enough and, lets... more

Stayed in Hotel V Frederiksplein for 3 nights at the end of March. We were on the fourth floor of the main building, the lift only goes to the third floor, so be prepared if you have a heavy case. First impression was that the hotel was extremely modern and trendy, the staff were all lovely and were always smiling... more

I have stayed at Hotel V for three nights last months. The hotel is situated close to a really cool shopping street, Utrechtsestraat, which has cute boutiques and lunch rooms. The staff at the reception gave me good advise where to shop, have dinner => Supperclub- what a place! - and they even offered to put me on the guest... more

I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were really helpful and knowledgable about the area. Our room was a little small, but still plenty big enough for a short stay, clean, with a nice en-suite. Hotel in general is very modern and had a good feel to it. Although not completely central and in the thick of all the... more
