Hotel is very clean, modern and very close to train station which gives you access to transport links. Amsterdam central is only around 10-12 mins on the train and run regular.
Food in hotel and around in the cafes is expensive but there is a local supermarket where you can get everything and a fridge in the hotel to store your drinks and food.
Primark is just opposite the hotel if you forget anything also.
Highly recommend this hotel and Zaandam itself.

On arrival we was greeted and told our room was ready for check in this was great news considering we had a early flight here we booked for the deluxe room and was offered for a extra cost if we wanted parking and breakfast for our stay we then proceeded to pay tourist tax at the reception £51 and was given our directions to our room the staff were all polite and helpful

The room we had was on the second floor which was easy to find and we found the room to be spacious and comfortable the room had a tv mounted to the room a safe deposit box which was free to use which was great the beds are comfortable and two pillows provided for each side.

The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent with the option of a over head shower or a removable shower head both consisted of good pressure the shower is large with plenty of room.

House keeping was okay but they do come round quite late one afternoon they didn’t come round till after 4pm it was okay as we only required fresh towels but a little annoying if you want to relax in the afternoon after a day out .

Hotel location was excellent with a supermarket opposite and a a couple minutes walk to the train station where you can get a train into Amsterdam central within 15 minutes and the hotel is accessible by train direct from the airport

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zaan hotel and would happily stay again in the future if we visit again great place to stay and enjoy your holiday.

Stayed for 3 nights with partner and their parents. Hotel outside is so unique and in a perfect location to travel to places. The area isn't so bad either. You have a few places to eat and shops to buy food from such as 3 Albert heijns being about a 1-3 minutes away. A panthe cinema, primark and takeaways such as mcdonalds and domino's around the corner. You won't have problems. rooms are spacious if you purchase the deluxe double. It comes with shower and bath big enough for two to fit and towels for 2 people which gets changed regularly by housekeeping everyday.. Tea and coffee (only Earl Grey tea and powder milk creamers). A 50 inch tv that but limited channels and poor screen share service plus you pay for movies. Bed is comfy if not a little on the hard side and same with pillows. Used pool everyday. prepare for it to be cold but clean. Sauna and steam room are a good addition and heat up well. Sleep can be a challenge if you are street facing. even up to the 6th floor since waterfall stops about 11pm. After that you tend to get the noisey crowd coming back from damn up until 3pm. This was only an issue on the Friday night so recommend go during the weekdays for quieter sleep. Staff were always helpful and had a smile always willing to help whenever possible.
Side note get the amsterdam and regional pass to make the most for your money if you plan to travel to and from amsterdam everyday as well as use the trams in dam and transport to keukenhof and schiphol Airport. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who wished to travel to amsterdam. book in advance and shop around to find a great deal got this for £63 per room per night not including the tourist tax.

Charming hotel with modern rooms (fairly large by European standards) and incredibly helpful staff. We enjoyed staying out of Amsterdam proper and found this small village to be a nice break from the busy city. The hotel is steps from the train station, from which you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in 2 stops for about 6 euros. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar and just a few blocks away is a street with nearly a dozen restaurants (all with outdoor seating). The bathroom was very modern with a shower (excellent water pressure) and separate tub. The room was clean and had ample storage area for luggage to sit out or to put away clothes. Highly recommend this hotel!

The Private Welness arrangement in the founder's suite was very relaxing. The rooms can do a bit more dusting. Very very polite and helpful staff. The breakfast in room with a small bottle of prosecco was very pampering. Definitely coming back !

The hotel is on Zaandam’s main street, a minutes walk from the station (12 minutes, €2.50 to Amsterdam Centraal). The pool was lovely with plenty of towels and a steam room, sauna and gym. We stayed in a Junior Founders Suite and would recommend it. The in-room whirlpool bath and the sauna were great and the nespresso machine and pods, the dressing gowns and slippers were nice touches. We found the room temperature easy to control - air conditioning in the bedroom, lots of windows that can open and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Would recommend to anyone visiting Zaandam or Amsterdam.

The only thing I’d say could improve would be an extra towel as standard. The room had three big towels but with the sauna and whirlpool bath we were drying off quite a lot so two towels each as standard would have been great.

Started here for a weekend as it was close to Amsterdam. Plus we seen it in pictures and it looks amazing.
It's a couple of minutes walk from the train station which will get you to Amsterdam in 20 minutes and the airport in just half an hour with the direct train.
Our room was on the 11th floor with amazing views from our corner windows.
Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice from fruit, cereals and pastries to hot food.
Hotel is in a shopping centre so if you forget anything don't worry.
Room has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable beds.

I only stayed here for one night, as a stopover between flights instead of one of the usual Schipol Hotels! In future, I'll come here everytime.
Inntel is just a two minute walk from Zaandam Station, next to a shopping mall and within walking distance of everything there is to do in Zaandam.
The building is, of course, iconic and looks even more stunning in real life than the photos we've all seen!
Check in was quick and the receptionist was so friendly, giving a really warm welcome.
By room on the 9th floor had a nice view and was modern, spacious and really clean. There was tea/coffee and plenty of amenities in the ensuite.
The bar was really nice with great service and reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was truly exceptional with a wide range of hot and cold dishes- I could have kept eating forever!
My stay here cost me around €60 which is incredibly cheap- it's very rare to find such good value anywhere near Amsterdam!
Hopefully when I come back next, I can stay for longer!

From the moment we arrived the first 50 minutes were a terrible reflection on our first exposure to Dutch Hospitality. Despite correspondence and agreeing to their request to pay more for interconnecting rooms, we did not get them. Worse still when I explained the rooms were not interconnecting, I was told they were and taken 7 floors up by the receptionist to prove they were interconnecting. Felt like a 7 year old child. They weren't. No apology. Said would sort. 10 mins later I went back to reception, the receptionist was serving other customers. They just left us. It was at that point I was looking round for a little Spanish Waiter or a tall man doing goose steps, it was that bad and comical. After getting angrier and angrier eventually after 50 mins I was told they had none left. It was horrible. Asked if they could book us in somewhere else to get out of there . They wouldn't. Told I would be compensated in the morning by the manager. I wasn't , Had to have another argument to get my interconnecting room payment taken off. You could not write it. Still did not see the little Spanish Waiter. He must have been there somewhere. Awful stay

The hotel itself is very beautiful and rather unique is design. I've never stayed at a hotel before that I really wanted to take a picture of, but this definitely was worth it!

The staff at the hotel were amazing. Very friendly, polite and helpful with any & all needs you may have. Enjoyed a few nice chats with some staff! Cannot fault them at all.

The rooms were not the largest, due to construction work the bar was closed so we moved a table & chair from one bedroom to another to be able to relax and play games/have a drink, which made the space quite cramped in one room. Normally though, there would be plenty of space. But the furniture in the rooms was nice and comfortable, so sitting in our room for quite a few hours on the chairs was still comfortable and we had a good time.

The location is ideal, next to a train station (though you cannot really hear the trains from the hotel rooms) so easy access to amsterdam central station (15-20 minute ride away) so quite ideal, but far enough away from the busy city centre so it's quite peaceful where the hotel is situated.
Zaandam high street starts right near the hotel entrance, so there is great access to shops and some very nice restaurants.
There is a mcdonalds opposite the hotel, so perfect for a quick nip out for a bite to eat.
