We stayed at this Hotel for car races at the Circuit of Zandvoort. The circuit is just opposite of the Hotel. At racingweekends you can hear the cars, but racing is during daylight hours only. Hotel rooms are comfortable; parking your car on the Hotel parking will cost you an € 12,50 per day extra (not free). More

The rooms are OK if stupidly overpriced in August and as far as I can see the only difference between the ordinary rooms and the "executive" rooms is that the executive rooms have aircon, which is essential given the hotel is glass sided and hot as hell in the summer months, with windows that are too small to let any... Stayed here due to proximity to circuit but it's a long walk from town. Rooms are basic but reasonably comfortable. Check in was hugely disorganised with queues of people. A nice hotel with a location opposite the beach (a road run in front of the hotel). Main areas are modern and ok but the rooms are tired. I would say not refurbished for 5 years or so. We have stayed at this hotel when it was Golden Tulip. Because of the location (very close to the beach) and our previous experiences we chose it for our weekend break. Location: located at the very end of town about a 20 minute walk from train station, restaurants and shops. 50 minute train trip from Amsterdam and The Hague, and about 10 minute train ride to Harleem (picture perfect town) Room: we had a huge room with two very comfortable single beds pushed together, TV, desk, chairs and dining room table.... Very convenient for circuit zandvoort, rooms and hotel could use bit of freshing up so currently bit too expensive however location to racetrack makes it up a bit More
