My hotel room in the historic hotel with plenty of atmosphere received a contemporary make-over turning a classic room in comfortable setting. I my room face the front street and the railway yet was surpisingly quiet. The single queen bed room is spacious and modestly decorated.
The bathroom is ultra-contemporary, sparsly finished in bright white color. I could not find an outlet in the bathroom for dryer or shaver. Puzzling.
Wireless for-pay internet worked fine and other room equipment was functional.
The bed was comfortable.
With half of the room windowed it was difficult to darken the room over night into the morning.
Complimentary continental breakfast buffet was great. Service was courteous, yet somewhat understaffed. more
