We stayed one night onboard of the SS Rotterdam and it exceeded my expectations. Sure, it was going to be special to sleep in a ship with a history but it turned out that it's very well renovated with a nice combination of modern comfort and 50s style. All staff is very friendly and dressed in style as well. Our... More

The SS Rotterdam is a huge cruise ship rebuilt to hotel. It has a fantastic atmosphere and great views to the skyline of Rotterdam. The rooms are small and well equipped. I had a room without a window, however the rooms to the outside of the hotel do have windows. The breakfast has a great choice and is well presented.... More

Stayed in the hotel for 2 days in a nice standard double room. The rooms are very clean and in a 50s style. I was missing a bit of decoration on the wall though around the bed, lot's of wall, nothing on it except a tv. Shower rooms clean, not the most logical layout but clean. Ship has been restored... Stayed on the ship 1 night and was delighted. Loved the experience of staying on board and being greeting by the ships porter when boarding. It leaves an impression. Everything was wonderful, my only complain would be food is expensive. For the rest you simply must stay here when in rotterdam it doesnt dissappoint. Im going back this weekend for... More

I had been looking forward to the opportunity to stay here. I had traveled on the SS Rotterdam twice as a child round trip New York to Rotterdam to visit family in 1963. It did not disappoint. It was also very interesting to see the former first class areas that we did not experience then. Our room was large, for... More

We had a nice one night stay at the SS Rotterdam. If you give yourself an upgrade for Euro 20,- you'll get a really big hut/room. The setting is fantastic. The ship was built in 1958 and every detail of this oceanliner has the athmosphere of fifties and sixties design. You may think of the madmen tv series. You can... More

Stayed 3 nights to attend Rotterdam Marathon. Room fabulous, but cannot open the windows! it got stuffy. Otherwise it was a fun venue, watch out though breakfast is 38 euros for two. It is situated a 25 minute walk to the nearest metro, during the day there is a shuttle to the metro, but if you want to go out... More

I loved the decoration of the room I stayed in. Breakfast was nice and watching the view from the deck was just wonderful. I would advise to stay there for a night. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are warm.

You can't argue with it - staying on an ex transatlantic cruise liner is a great experience! From sighting the ship in the distance to seeing its huge size as you draw near, it's exciting all the way. Our room (3 of us) was huge and very comfortable. The port holes are small, and wifi is in public areas only,... More

We had a (what they call ) Superior Room aboard the SS Rotterdam; this was room A001, a small room with 2 very small windows On the left side you could hardly get in or out the double bed. But you're inside a ship! Roomprice was very reasonable -thanks to a special action rate. My doughter (party of four) had... More
