It is average range hotel. The reason why I stay there - it is singular hotel located near to Europort. There is no water, coffee to drink in the room. Around the hotel there is absolutely nothing interesting. It is a Hotel and only for businees those related with the Europort. The Breakfast and meals are very good. Yuo can... More

I have never been in more dirty hotel room before in my life. This was incredible view: upon entering room first noted was a big black stain of approx 30cm2 on light carpet. Curtains dirty, one window that you can open was almost falling apart. Each time train passes entire room shakes like waterbed. Restaurant; if you want to eat... More

on arrival, reception was very helpfull, but things went down hill when they realised we were contractors, waitress was not helpfull in serving food, bar manager was rude too, asked for a coke with ice, to be told , it was cold already, then put ice with his hand, very un hygenic, training would be a good idea, to all... From the outside the hotel looks dated and rundown, but once inside is better. The rooms are very small and have basic furniture and shower room, but are clean and in good condition. There is free broadband in the room and the TV has a range of different language channels. Though a little noisy at night - right next to... More

The Hotel is quite expensive, far from any tourist point. The room is tiny, the TV is small and you have to pay for almost all channels. I believe whoever stays there is just to sleep quick while travelling.

Normally hotels at the professional docks are just a little worn out, but not in this case. Hotel de Beer was nice, cosy and a pleasent place. Online booking was ready uppon arrival, and after 11 hours of driving a decent meal was needed. This was not a problem for the restaurant, they seved a full dinner with three dishes,... More

This is advertised in many places as 4 star but it is nowhere near that. The rooms are pretty basic and only a few (the more expensive ones) have airconditioning. The main restaurant seems to be reserved for those who are not hotel guests and have booked a function or just a table. Hotel guests seem to be put in... More

The De Beer is close to Europort so it attracts individuals working and visiting the area on business. Very convenient in that sense. Clean, tidy and efficient but It has a 'Sixties' feeling to it. I felt as though I should be wearing bell bottom trousers and round necked collars! Staff very freindly and efficient. Rooms basic but clean and... More

I regularly use this hotel whilst working in and around Europort. The hotel is well run, with very friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are of an average standard and suffer from a lack of aircon in the summer months. Also light sleepers will not appreciate being so close to the railway line or motorway, although it has never bothered... More
