Owner tries to take adventage and more money from guests after leaving. Complaints about a bit of WASHABLE make up on a towel and demands money before even attempting to do his laundry. Unfriendly and unprofessional approach, avoid this place at all cost if you wanna avoid toxicity on your holidays

Because the reception of the hotel closes at 21:00 hours, I lost my reservation at the cost of 100 euros. The reception closing is not informed on the hotel or Booking.com websites. The hotel only informed me of this fact the day after I could have cancelled the reservation at no cost, which frankly doesn't seem in good faith.

This is my second stay and I’m even more impressed than on my previous stay four years ago. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal station, but in a green and leafy situation overlooking trees and a lovely canal. Room and bed were very comfortable, with a functional bathroom. A good breakfast too. But for me the highlight is the owner - not only friendly and welcoming but also extremely helpful. So glad you’re open again after Covid; I’m looking forward to my next stay when I am next in Rotterdam.

Room Tip: If possible book a room at the front of the hotel, for a lovely view of the canal

Very good value hotel. The bed was the most comfortable one that I have ever slept in so I had a good 10 hours sleep. The breakfast was excellent and everybody was very friendly. Even though the stairs were steep and no lift I would certainly stay there again the next time I am in Rotterdam.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Location is perfect as not noisy in the evening so great if you have children, walking distance from both the main train station, trams and city centre. Staff were lovely and very helpful, breakfast had something for everyone so full tummies to start the day. Only downside were the stairs to the top but to be honest by the last night we were all used to them and had it mastered. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

This is a simple hotel, but if offers vallue for money! It is located 250 yards from the back-entrance of Rotterdam Central Station, so very convenient for travellers by train. Within minutes you are in downtown Rotterdam. The small but functional room has a good bed, and the hotel offers an excellent continental breakfast.

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Bienvenue and after staying in a noisy part of Amsterdam it was great to be somewhere quiet. The area is peaceful and the little park in front of the hotel is nice to sit in. If you are ok being away from the bustle of central Rotterdam this is a good choice. The hotel is well-placed near the train and bus station which is very convenient for trips to Delft or Den Hague. There is a very nice cafe close by called Boon and supermarket not too far away either. My single room was small but clean and comfortable and with great TV reception. I had a small shower room and shared a toilet but this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was more than adequate and tea/coffee are available all day. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. Remember to pay cash, not credit card. I would highly recommend staying here.

10 minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal railway station, so well placed for trams, buses, underground and trains. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early. We were offered a ground floor twin room which was great for my dodgy knee! The beds were comfortable, and could be adjusted electrically to raise up the head end for reading and watching the TV. We had a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. The breakfast room on the first floor is really pleasant, with a good view over the canal and linear park next to it.Breakfast was good and plentiful. Eddy speaks excellent English, is really friendly and was very helpful with advice on how to get around and checked opening times on the internet for us. There's no bar in the hotel, but there's a very pleasant pub about 30 metres from the hotel. This was exactly what I wanted when I booked and I would definitely return.

Free breakfast and free wifi. Few minutes walk to the central station. Room was small but it was OK for one person. Steep staircases. The reception is on 1st floor. Tip: pay by CASH! A 5% surcharge applies if you pay by card.

Hotel is in a very good location close to the centre & train station, in a quiet neighbourhood. Reception staff friendly on arrival. Room was quite small and not the quietest. We chose the cheaper option with a shared bathroom as we were only there for one night, would recommend booking one with a private bathroom if staying longer. The toilet was quite small and the shower was up on the floor above. Wouldn't recommend this place for elderly or anyone with trouble walking/ balancing as the stairs are very steep and difficult to descend. Breakfast was satisfactory. We had a nice view down the canal from our room at the front of the hotel, but watch out for mosquitos on a night, we learnt the hard way.
