Stayed for a weekend - maybe that's why construction noise didn't impact. Room was very good - nice area with sofas in corner window space. Breakfast was very efficient and staff very friendly.Above all found the staff at reception very very helpful. Went out of their way to recommend and book a restaurant and the table we got suggests that... more

The downside here iindeeed s the noise from the construction of the new Babylon shopping centre/offices next door. Drilling started a little early, at about 7.45am. But otherwise the hotel is entirely refurbished with achingly cool design features in the rooms (polite way of saying the lights are in funny places and the room was a little dark) and the... more

Thank you for your review! We always glad to hear that our guests are satisfied staying in our hotel. Construction next to hotel starts every day after nine. Sometimes some builders are to enthusiastic. We have daily contact with the construction company to avoid any inconvenience for our guests. Hope to see you soon in Eden Babylon Hotel The Hague!...

The hotel is almost impossible to find thanks to the major construction works done on the hotel. You can't stop or park in front of the hotel, the entrance is hidden and is badly signposted. Why any hotel management keeps a hotel open while going through a major construction is a surprise, and shows you what it's all about: MONEY.... more

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately our hotel did not meet your expectations. The hotel was in the process of renewing the facade of the hotel. In that time (during your stay) we have to admit the signage was poor and the hotel not easy to find if you are not well-known with the area. Meanwhile the facade is ready...

After reading the reviews I was 50:50 about saying here. I'm glad I did. Having spent the week travelling around Europe this was my third hotel and by far the best. If you're worried about the noise, ask to stay on the quiet side of the hotel and you won't be bothered. The hotel is right next to the train... more

As I write I'm sat in my hotel room with my TV at full volume. Thank god they have not limited the volume on the telly! Yes I know there were building works around the hotel before booking (although the it was not the hotel that told me) but I did not expect this kind of noise. Imagine that someone... more

This used to be the 'Sofitel' and the rooms have not changed, though the restaurant/'bar has been revamped. I have never loved the hotel, but it is so convenient outside the Centraal station. I have stayed maybe 10 times over 5 years. On this visit there were a plague of smallish issues which mean I will never stay again. There... more

I think it is interesting that this hotel is rated as a 3* on tripadvisor. While the lobby and outside of the hotel is definitely subpar, the room I stayed in was definitely 4*. And I almost never think a room is better than its rating. Having said that, I think we paid way too much to stay at this... more

The Eden hotel Babylon looks like a 1970s monster from the outside, but is actually rather nice once you have made your way passed the construction site and constant road works. It is located next to the Central Station which has a direct train to Schiphol Airport. Single rooms are small-ish, while double rooms are nice. Room prices are quite... more

As there is heavy renovation work ongoing as a huge new housing complex is built around the Eden Babylon, you'll almost certainly find a scaffolding (with people on it!) right in front of your window - lovely sight for a romantic weekend getaway... Also on a weekday the drilling and hammering noises (starting at 8am sharp on monday) was so... more

Really nice hotel, very close to the Central train station. Nice selection for breakfast. Construction work ongoing, but it did not disturb us, as we were only there in the evening and early morning. Would definately recommend this hotel! more
