I booked to stay 2 nights but thankfully only did 1. The bed sank deeply in the middle and i woke with back ache. Room was not especially clean with barely vaccumed carped and hairs in the bathroom. It was phenomenally noisy from the road and the adjacent rooms - the walls are basically domestic chip board so TVs, conversations... more

A very basic hotel indeed..the rooms were quite dull and not very cheery..i stayed for a few days and opted to sleep late on 2 mornings..I placed the do not disturb sign on the door but was rudely awakened on 2 occasions to find the cleaning staff standing at the foot of my bed..most alarming..otherwise it was ok more

Don't be put off by the name, it's not actually that Bad. The rooms and facilities are good, and the restaurant offers some very good food. Receptionists were friendly too. Service in the restaurant was slow. more

I booked this hotel at short notice for a business trip and it wouldn't have been first choice as it was situated well away from my office and we normally rate a 4-star for business trips. With relatively low expectations I was quite pleasantly surprised. The lobby and restaurant were nothing to write home about, being small, functional and a... more

I booked this at very short notice through American Express travel - there was a large conference happening in The Hague so all the normal choices in the city centre were full. I was only going to be staying in the hotel for one night so I was willing to take the chance. The name of the hotel is rather... more

This hotel is a lovely and charming hotel, just a few yards from the seaside and the beach. The rooms are very tidy and nice, not too large, but just enough to be comfortable. There is no view. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was simple, but altough there was a variety of food. The quality of the... more

This was my first visit to Scheveningen (like Blackpool in Holland but much "MUCH" cleaner!). I think overall Scheveningen is exactly what Blackpool / Southport and all the other UK beach resorts would want themselves to be like (i.e. clean and no scum!). BTW... I like Blackpool, I go there with my family every year to see the Circus -... more

Having read the previous review it was with some trepedation that this hotel was visited with a number of children and adults. However, the previous review could not have been more wrong. The car park was easy to use and the hotel staff were perhaps the most helpful I have come across. Nothing was too much trouble from rearranging ordered... more

Situated 5 minutes walk from the town centre and 3 minutes from the beach, Badhotel is poor at best, despite a recent make over. Parking: Staff did not explain that parking is charged at almost 13 Euro per day. The small carpark next to the hotel was full & I was instructed to use the overflow carpark, which is a... more
