This is a dull hotel. It isn't that it specifically fails anywhere (though the concierge service is uneven and the breakfasts wildly expensive), but that it does its best to be anonymous and without any particular features to speak of. There is plenty of obvious things that it doesn't have- no gym, no pool, no free internet, but that wouldn't... more

Hotel in the center of the city near the markets, museums and sights. Good breakfast, but they close the door early 9 o'clock Dangerous area around the hotel at night I would not recommend to leave after the tenth evening more

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was a great choice for a short stay because: - it has great central location, major attractions are within short walking distance - the rooms were clean and well maintained - the staff was friendly - the breakfast was decent - underground parking was next to the hotel - we rented... more

Stayed for five nights by early December 2008. Rooms and the breakfast area were recently renovated and now look modern and functional. In the room there is a desk, spacious shower, lots of coat hangers and cupboards. On the drawbacks side: the two beds are tiny but comfortable; one would expect at least a queen size... Why putting two tiny... more

Stayed here for one night whilst on business to see how this Accor hotel compares with the Novotel in town. As an A-Club platinum member I often try and compare the various hotels to find the best one. I have to admit I was not particularly impressed by the Mercure. I was allocated room 601, which is a small room... more

I understand that the Accor Group (the parent company of the Mercure) operates a strict pricing policy, so that you never seem to get "rock bottom prices" for this particular establishment on the various on-line hotel reservation websites. The prices on offer are nearly always the same as those on the official Mercure/Accor website. That said, the location of the... more

This hotel is located near to the central station and at about 5 minutes by tram from the HS station. Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice. The shower cabin is huge and allow a view of the room and outside. Fourniture are also modern and very confortable. Nice hotel to stay but very expensive compared to other... more

Stayed for four nights. As noted previously, rooms are recently renovated and modern. Large work desk, spacious shower, lots of coat hangers. Mini bar is tiny, a glass fronted fridge the size of two shoe boxes. For the price this hotel lacks some of the amenities and features I would normally expect. There is no ironing board in room (available... more

We stayed for one night. The room was okay, having a nice atmosphere. It is not big, but gives the impression of space thanks to a clever design. The shower is difficult to understand, though. The breakfast room, on the other hand, appears cheap. The buffet is not very diverse, and it is outrageously priced at 18.50 Euros. more
