We stayed for one night and paid €85 for a twin room using hotels.nl. The hotel is newly refurbished and looks very elegant. The room was well decorated and the bathroom was very modern. Some interesting design touches in the bathroom including natural light coming through a frosted glass wall. The rooms were very clean and my room had a... more

We stayed at the NH Den Haag for a weekend conference. The hotel is very modern, with excellent sized rooms and it is clean and comfortable. It is well placed for the business district, is located near to a tram station, but is about 20 mis walk from the centre in an unattractive location. It appears to be very quiet... more

This hotel is really struggling with identity - they claim to be a four star but the service is like you're in communist eastern europe. Whilst the staff are superficially pleasant, they have a deep seated objection to and will often refuse to actually solve your problems. Be warned if you want food out of hours, laundry at the weekend,... more

I stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago when it was brand new; it had some problems then which are understandable when a hotel is brand new and staff still needs to get 'into the groove'. I was there recently, and they still haven't got their act together: parking your car in the hotel garage is still very... more

I stayed in this hotel several times. It offers no leisure activiteis, but for a business trip to The Hague it's recommendable. It's quite new, with a nice, not exaggerated modern design. I do not understand the critics of others over the window between bathroom and room. Don't be ridiculous. Its just opaque glass, you don't see anything. The big... more

I stayed here in September 2006 for 5 nights whilst on business. The location was near to where I was working, but is a good 10 minute walk to the central station and about 20-25 minute walk to the town centre. The room was very well appointed and very clean. The staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was of a... more

I tried to stay at the NH hotel in April 2006. My room was fully paid for in advance and guaranteed for late arrival. I phoned the hotel the day before my stay just to check my requests for a non-smoking, quiet room and was informed that everything was fine. On arrival at the hotel at about 2230, I was... more

We stayed here for 2 nights (Fri and Sat) when the rates are half of those during the week. Yes it is primarily a business hotel but is very stylely, clean, quiet and only a 15 - 20 minutes walk to centre of the city and central train station. There are a couple of nice restaurants within 10 minute if... more

The hotel is mainly aimed at business travellers, however we decided to stay here for 2 nights (Fri/Sat) because the rates plummet on a weekend. The service is a bit hit-and-miss; slow to check-in but friendly, little acknowledgement from staff during breakfast in the restaurant, and didn't bother to wipe tables or clean our plates away during the meal. We... more

I have just returned from the Hague where we spent five days. The hotel has some advantages and some disadvantages that you need to know about. The advantages are: 1. It is relatively close to the Central Station. 2. It is brand new, it is safe and secure. 3. The design is quite bold and original. The closets have glass... more
