The hotel's friendly and knowledgeable Dutch and American owners were very helpful. All guestrooms are classically decorated with Sanderson's William and Morris wallpaper and feature hardwood flooring. In addition, all rooms are individually furnished with antique accents, original artwork and period prints. There was no additional charge for access to the hotel's high speed internet connection. We particularly enjoyed using the hotel's recently installed VOIP telephone system, permitting us to make international calls for a fraction of what hotel's commonly charge. The hotel is easily accessible from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport (just 35 minutes by train), offers a direct connection with trams 1 and 9 and is steps from the beach (less than 5 minutes walking distance).
