When you book, your intention is to spend a nice stay in what is supposed to be a high standard hotel chain. Once you get to the hotel, you realize they have sold the facility for the night to a huge party with loud unbearable music. A stone's throw from the Train station and inter-city bus terminus. Yet amazingly quiet. A modern hotel with large rooms and free internet access. Would definitely be my choice on any future trip. more

Still at the Radisson Blu Astrid for one night, and it was a good experience. The hotel is right across the station, and is a 10mins walk from the old town. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi is provided. more

We have great memories of the Radisson Astrid. The Staff really went out of their way to please us. We kept on extending our stay even though we had reservations elsewhere. Disappointing stay at the Radisson Blu Astrid. Visit started with a long wait at the underground parking, as the entry system and intercom were broken, and reception did not seem to care much about this and the inconvenience to the guests. After a 45 min hassle to park the car finally able to check in to the supposed double room.... more

The Astrid is centrally located although not in the historic (old) centre, but close to the Station. The lobby is nicely designed and promising with regard to the rooms. As the hotel is quite large (with many rooms), there is no special feeling when you approach your room. But these are really nice, quite large, good bathrooms, big beds etc.... more

Just back from one night stay in Antwerpen. What a lovely city and Astrid was a great choice. Opposite the beautiful train station and Zoo, diamond shops nearby and just a short stroll to the old town and shopping streets.
